This Tablet PC is Tougher Than You

By: Bill Armstrong (Contributing Editor)

If Robocop was going to carry a tablet PC, it would be this one.  The rugged tablet is designed to take whatever you can throw at it, and then some. Developed by DRS, known for making some of the toughest computers around, the X10gx looks like a tank and is nearly as tough. Designed to be used outdoors, it has a drop shock rating of 4 feet, and is built to withstand a variety of extreme conditions including rain, dust, and extreme heat and cold. The stand out features include a Core 2 Duo processor running Windows 7 professional, an anti glare lcd screen for use outside on sunny days, and a 64GB solid state hard drive. A full list of features is below. If you like the convenience and portability of the , but in a manly futuristic design, the Armor X10gx is worth taking a look at.
