Nintendo Wii To Celebrate Super Mario 25th Anniversary!

25 years ago, a little plumber in red overalls side-scrolled into our living rooms and our lives with Super Bros. and video games have never been the same. 

To quote the 25th Anniversary website, writes:

To celebrate Mario’s anniversary, Nintendo is seeing RED!  A red , red bundle that includes  accessories like remote and Motion Plus add-on.  Include a red Nunchuk controller with a copy of sports and a copy of New Super Mario Bros. will have you seeing red in no time too!

So comment below if you will rush out and buy the red Wii or DSi XL, just because it is a edition, just because you like the color red, or could really care less. Would you like to see a different color Wii?

    Aww I think it’s a great way for Nintendo to celebrate their biggest star. I think they should’ve personalized it more though, instead of just coloring it red. After all, they owe a huge thanks to Mario.

    First of all… happy birthday Mario! As for switching out my white console for a red one… I don’t have a Wii so I guess it’s a moot point.

    You could get a custom Mario ZAGGskin in any color you wanted and put it on your white Wii!

    If I could I would buy the red WII I like unique things, ok so they did thousands of them but not everyone will be quick to buy the red Wii unless if sor their little ones.

    I love Super Mario Bros, I can just hear the tune in my head right now. But I could never save the princess.

    Big fan of Nintendo Mario Bros, that I completed the entire game back in the mid-late nineties when the game was so popular. Have never tried the Wi, but can only assume it will be just as dynamic as it’s predecessors. The reviews have thus far been very positive and owning one would be another opportunity to test ones skills….WoooooHoooo!!

    These Red Mario game consoles are very cool! I really like the red, but even more, I like the fact that they are “commerorative” Will I rush right out, no. But if I had a decent amount of disposable income, I just might!!

    I have been waiting to get a Wii, this red one is likely going to be the one i get. Other colour? How about Purple?
