Monster has been positioning itself as a top-flight supplier of high-profile, celebrity-associated headphones, first lining up with Dr. Dre. When Dr. Dre released his ‘’ headphones last year, despite being a celebrity tie-in and being very expensive they had a certain legitimacy due to his producer status and they really did pack a punch, especially in the low end. And more recently tooling around with the likes of Miles Davis and . She stated “The Heartbeats are so trendy they don’t even need to list the specifications on the website, they just boast they’ve got flat cables and are a great alternative to earrings.” (Hmmm…) Now the company is launching itself into the fashion world with new in-ear headphones designed in conjunction with fashion designer .
