Get Google Tasks on Your Android

I’ve been trying to move my life to Google and so far, it handles my RSS Feeds (Reader), emails (Gmail), navigation (Maps), chat (Talk) and even calls (Voice). While I tried out Calendar and Tasks, they’ve just not been able to replace the Outlook experience that I need (timezone support for one). And the lack of sync between my tasks in the cloud on Google Tasks and those on my devices, well, just makes it unusable right now.
In comes the mobile version of Google Tasks that you can access from your phone’s browser to get the job done. Just point it to https://mail.google.com/tasks/android and off you go. Granted, it’s not an application that allows you to work offline but with Android’s ability to set a bookmark as a shortcut on your homepage, it does take a bit of the inconvenience away. It seems to work on other mobile browsers as well, not just Android’s, and your mileage may vary.
Now, if we can only get an app for it. And maybe multiple timezone support on Calendar too?
