Available in portable (for travel) and external (for home) sizes, DiskGO 3.0 Hard Drives sport the fastest USB connection on the market. With speeds of up to 5Gb/s, USB 3.0 is 10 times faster than USB 2.0 (480Mb/s). DiskGO USB 3.0 hard drives can back up HD movies, photo collections, and entire music libraries in seconds when connected to a USB 3.0 port (also with USB 2.0 computers). The portable model, which is compact and requires only a USB cable for power, is available in capacities up to 750GB. The external model is available in capacities up to 2TB. Dmailer Backup [PDF], software that allows automatic local and online data backups, comes free.

For users without access to USB 3.0 ports, EDGE offers laptop and desktop upgrade card solutions that add this capability. The SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Laptop ExpressCard adds a USB 3.0 port to any Windows laptop with an available ExpressCard slot, and the SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Desktop Card adds two ports to any Windows desktop with an available slot.

    I am so glad we are finally getting almost completely away from having to have an adapter to power gadgets.
    Everything should really charge either way, for ease.
