Bowers & Wilkins Show Off 800 Series Diamond Speakers

Bower & Wilkins reveal its new 800 series Diamond speakers.

This is the same company that has brought to us quality and craftsmanship for over 44 years, and they are not going to stop now. Through the years I have come across different brands of Hi-Fi speakers that boast of their sound reproduction and have faltered. Bowers & Wilkins with the innovative design of the Nautilus emerged from B&W’s University of Sound R&D facility after five years’ painstaking development. Briefed to stop at nothing in the quest for a perfect loudspeaker, their engineers arrived at a set of drive units whose tapering, tubular enclosures spirited away every trace of internal resonance.

B&W looked to one material to raise the bar in terms of audio quality with their latest 800 Series speakers. The speakers now use diamond tweeters capable of achieving accurate high frequency sound and have been tweaked in specific areas creating a sound profile that leapfrogs the previous generation with bigger bass and significantly less distortion.
